HOT WATER TANK

What happened to our water? We were full last night and now there is only half a tank?

Our hot water tank had a rusty bottom and leaked all night long a couple of weeks ago. Hot water is not a necessity but sure is a fantastic luxury item down here. Paul ordered a new, different and smaller one. We had it shipped on Maker's Air to right here at Staniel Cay. Last Monday was an exciting day as two flights came in with all kinds of supplies. We had that tank installed within a half hour.

This is the old rusted tank. Very heavy getting
it out of the lazarette!

This is the new and much smaller tank.
We are loving hot water to do dishes!

We call positions like this "boat yoga". This is Paul disassembling the water tank to get out. He is lying on our dometic freezer, which had to be emptied out and moved in order to get the old tank out.

A few days ago we went fishing for two hours on the outside and only caught a barracuda, can't eat that so released back into the waters. It was exciting for a short time.

This being Easter I have given a few painted sand dollars out and will give more out in the next few days.
Happy Easter to you all!
