JUST PHOTOS

It has been very windy but enjoyed our anchorage. I saw turtles, rays and a baby shark this week. I am flying home to be with family on Tuesday. Here is a look back of our trip so far.

Lady Francis is a delivery boat here in the Exuma. From cars, golf carts, appliances to eggs, they deliver to various islands.

THIS AND THAT TIME OUT

The weather dictates when, where and how you travel on a boat. This week is a windy, wild week. We left Norman's Cay after only two nights to get to Big Major's anchorage here outside of Staniel Cay. We know we are protected from these strong winds. We don't get to visit Staniel Cay itself yet, or dinghy to various places of interest. It is just too rough.

Paul has made his own bridle for the anchor this year. It has custom lengths and easy to put on and off as we raise the anchor and lower it.

While in Key Biscayne our neighbour boat took some awesome photos of Time Out the night before we left for Bimini. Some amazing fireworks were in the background.

As our blog followers know I do rock painting and pouring but with all the sea glass I collect I need to find a way to do something with these. I have started making sea glass pendants. Look out friends and family..... not a rock but a sea glass pendant coming your way!

This year we have seen a dozen children on the beach here, so many young families. We have seen so many Canadian flagged boats along with ourselves, from Vancouver, Montreal and beyond. The last two years have been quiet ones but not this year. We are glad people are here and enjoying the beaches, blue waters and the boating community that we all have here.

We have four weeks of guests arriving this year, we are excited to share the Exuma, Bahamas with them.

Check our our (my) specific post Time Line 2022 for more up to date information.

BEACHES, SAND AND SUN

 AND FRIENDS

We arrived in Bimini happy and relaxed because our crossing was amazing. The sunrise was beautiful and the sunset later was even more beautiful. We met our friends at the marina and we reconnected.

I went to Shell Beach, Bimini with my bucket to collect ..... you guessed, shells!

On the Banks travelling, smooth easy run to the middle of nowhere to anchor!

This above photo is on the Bahama Banks on our way to Chub Cay. It was so calm that you could not distinguish between the water and horizon. These days are very rare.
