SHADES OF BLUE

We have made it again. We are right now anchored in the Nassau area in West Bay. This is on the west end of the island and away from the city itself. We had a good crossing from Key Biscayne except the last hour because we had to turn off the stabilizers.  An issue of overheating happened. We spent two nights in Bimini and one night on the Banks on our way here. We have a buddy boat with Star Link so we were able to log into their internet and have service that night. The most beautiful sunset! Our friends' first time anchored on the Banks, no land, no towers, nothing. It is special but some boats find it scary and don't anchor out there.

C-Shel in front of us. Check out their You Tube channel Searching for C-Shels. We met them years ago and always keep in touch whether in Toronto, Florida or Bahamas.

Sunrise on the Banks the next morning. We fished on our way to Nassau but caught not a nibble. Better luck next time!

I caught on camera a few of these crabs on Radio Beach, Alicetown Bimini. They hide from the birds as they can be a tasty lunch for them.

Check out the Time Line post for up to date information on us and other photos.
